The Heart team typically works 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. If they are in a 7am heart case then they would clock in at 5:45am and clock out at 2:15pm. If they are in an 8:15 heart case then they would clock in at 6:40am and clock out at 3:10pm. However, if they are on "Call" that day, they would stay until the cases are finished, which varies then they would be on "Call" from home as long as they live 30-40mins away and call would end at 7am the next day. They would be required to be on weekday call 1-2 times per week. Weekend call would be being available from home unless called in and is from 7am Saturday to 7am Monday. Weekend call would be 1-2 times per 6 week schedule. The team rarely gets called in on weekends.

Call is split between 4 RNs. Other duties when not in a case would be: picking cases, stocking rooms, giving breaks and lunches.

Submittal Instructions: Minimum 1 year of experience required unless otherwise specified in the job description. Active PA or Compact license required at submission. Required certifications must be current at submission (refer to job description/unit description for specialty-specific requirements). AHA certifications only accepted. Background concerns must be disclosed prior to submission for client review.

Submission Process: SSN, DOB, and RTO required at submission. Candidates must be available to work every other holiday. Submission Details: Two supervisor references preferred. Local candidates accepted at the travel rate. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital; refer to the job description for specialty-specific floating expectations. Cerner experience preferred. Former permanent employees are not eligible to return as travelers. Travel pairs accepted based on facility need. Cannot promise same schedule.

Start Requirements: Candidates must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed. Fingerprinting must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing. Drug screen and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing. Demographic sheet must be submitted within 48 hours of signing. All compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start. Modules: First 8 hours of orientation is not billable. Approximately 1 hour of pre-start modules required. Modules must be completed before entering the facility.
