In the role, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and reporting on cost structures, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.What You Will Do:Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reportsMaintain and update standard costs and ensure accuracy in the ERP systemConduct variance analysis and report findingsAssist with budget preparation and forecasting related to production costsWork closely with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost driversSupport audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standardsRecommend cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvementsWhat Skills & Experiences You Will Need:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.Top Candidates Will Also Have:CMAAdditional Info:Located in Fort Worth, TexasThis position currently requires 5 days a week in officeDomestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.Sponsorship is not available.International and Domestic travel up to 5%.What You Will Get:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
