Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) - Child Development Boh Center

Provides behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) implements and monitors individualized behavior intervention plans, collects data, trains support staff, and supports clients with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, primarily those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Collaborates with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote skill development, reduce challenging behaviors, and enhance quality of life. Education Required – Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any field from an accredited institution. Work Experience Preferred – 3+ years of related experience. License / Certifications Required – Current Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) license in the state of practice. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills. High level of professionalism. Knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis applicable to care and treatment of children with behavioral and developmental concerns. Job Duties Provide direct therapeutic services to patients via parent skills training, direct one‑to‑one therapy, and/or group social skills training under the supervision of a licensed BCBA. Communicate and document any changes in patient’s status and inform supervising therapist of patient’s reassessment. Maintain designated workspace (e.g., computer station, assigned treatment rooms) by organizing, cleaning, and/or supplying appropriate materials. Assist in conducting assessments. Monitor progress of patient treatment plans. Supervise ABA line technicians. Implement at‑home guidance for parents and caregivers. Other related duties as required. Physical and Occupational Requirements Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly. (Includes walking or standing to a significant degree; pushing/pulling arm or leg controls; maintaining a production rate pace involving constant pushing and/or pulling of materials.) Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue, but exposure or potential for exposure may occur. The incumbent works with patients who may have known or suspected communicable diseases and may enter isolation rooms, exposing to all communicable diseases. Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste.
