Job Position: Triage Technician / Medical Assistant - Pediatric Specialty Practice

Location: Savannah, GA 31404

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr.

Shift: 1st

Description: A well-established and highly respected pediatric specialty practice in the Savannah area is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Triage Technician to join its growing team. This fast-paced outpatient practice specializes in pediatric cardiovascular care and serves patients and families throughout Southeast Georgia through both office-based and outreach services.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a team-oriented environment where every day is different.

The practice sees approximately 45-50 patients daily in the primary office location, with outreach clinic days typically seeing approximately 15-20 patients.

Responsibilities:
• Perform patient triage and intake duties
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Perform EKGs
• Prepare patients for provider evaluations
• Confirm next-day patient appointments
• Review charts prior to appointments to ensure labs and bloodwork are completed
• Review and update medical histories, medications, and patient records
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
• Assist with patient flow and room turnover as needed
• Work collaboratively with providers and team members in a fast-paced setting
• Rotate coverage at outreach clinic locations

Outreach Locations:
• Brunswick
• Statesboro
• Waycross
• Douglas
• Vidalia

Staff travel together to outreach locations as a team.

EMR System:
• Greenway PrimeSuite

Ideal Candidate:
• Medical Assistant experience preferred
• EKG experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients and families
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Positive team-player attitude
• Reliable and dependable attendance

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
