Travel assignment, 13 weeks, 12hr nights, 36 hours a week, starting November 16, 2026.

Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,078 a week in all, a taxable rate of $22.52 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Marion, Illinois. This position provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department and requires adaptability, resilience, and strong clinical judgment. The assignment includes overnight shifts and collaboration across the healthcare facility within the registered nurse’s skill set.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Illinois registered nurse license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; Associate degree or certificate; at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience; at least 2 completed travel contracts; critical access experience; ventilator experience; and drip titration experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; charge experience; and EPIC experience.
• Schedule: Nights on 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This is a 13-week assignment from 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027. The emergency department has 12 beds with a 1:3–4 patient ratio. Staff members must be adaptable, flexible, resilient, and able to manage change effectively. Navy blue scrubs are required, without competing health system or agency logos.
