Surgical Oncology Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and mature Nurse (RN/LPN) to join a premier regional medical group in a high-volume Surgical Oncology practice. In this role, you will be the primary clinical support for a dedicated provider, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic flow. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for a professional looking to transition into a prestigious outpatient environment with a consistent weekday schedule.



Hours: M - F, 8:30 AM - 5 PM



Pay: 39.50-43.50/hr



Location: Onsite, Stamford CT


Core Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical workflow for a dedicated physician in a specialized surgical practice.
• Perform patient intakes, including rooming, vitals, and medical history.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within the Epic EMR system.
• Act as a clinical liaison between patients and providers to address concerns and care plans.
• Maintain a high standard of care in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting.

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN License for the state of Connecticut.
• Valid BLS certification.
• 1-2+ years of RN experience (Outpatient or Specialty experience preferred).
• Prior experience in Oncology or Surgical specialties is a significant plus.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment.
