Clinical Nutrition Care PositionThe purpose of this position is to provide clinical nutrition care to less nutritionally complicated including providing nutrition education to these patients as directed by and under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager or Clinical Dietitians, provide support to the Room Service Call Center staff, calculate and record results of nutrient intake analysis in the medical record, calculate specialized enteral/infant feedings, and monitor usage, place orders for enteral nutrition products.Function/Duties of PositionCalculate nutrient intake analysis data and enter the results in the medical recordMonitor usage and order enteral and infant formula productProvide nutrition care and education to low nutrition risk patients as directed by and under the direct supervision of the clinical dietitiansProvide support to the Call Center Communication Specialist and Room Service Associates, "trouble shoot" computer problems, and calculate recipes for modified infant formulas, enter menus into CBORD system as time permits and as neededDevelop nutrition education materials under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager or Clinical DietitiansEnter diets and supplements in CBORD; update CBORD to reflect nutrition orders from EPIC patient summaryRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED ANDTwo years of experience in a call/contact center or diet office, preferably in a medical or hospital settingWhy apply to OHSU?We are Oregon's only public academic health center.
