Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg-Ortho position on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of an orthopedic institute
• Med/Surg-Ortho patient population
• 12-week assignment with three 12-hour night shifts per week (1900-0730)
• Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, may include every Friday or every other Friday
• No shifts scheduled during the week of Thanksgiving (11/23-28)
• Facility is smaller in size with a slower-paced environment

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Med/Surg experience required

Additional Information

• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
• RTO must be submitted with the initial submission and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must be prepared to complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract, which may require travel to an in-state location or completion of a mailed fingerprinting packet
