Full Time Phoenix, AZ, US Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Annually About the Role The Learning Leader Barber will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of aspiring barbers at Paul Mitchell the school Turange Beauty institute. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that not only meets industry standards but also inspires students to excel in their craft. The Learning Leader will mentor and guide students through practical and theoretical lessons, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the barbering profession. Additionally, this role involves fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and personal growth among students. Ultimately, the Learning Leader Barber will contribute to the overall success of the program by producing skilled, confident, and job‑ready graduates. Minimum Qualifications Instructor License preferred Candidates who do not currently hold an Instructor License must be willing to obtain one; support and sponsorship may be provided by the company. Preferred Qualifications Experience with curriculum development and instructional design. Familiarity with current trends and techniques in the barbering industry. Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging and effective barbering curriculum that aligns with industry standards. Provide hands‑on training and mentorship to students, ensuring they develop practical skills in cutting, styling, and grooming. Assess student performance through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and address student needs. Skills The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for effectively conveying complex concepts to students. Practical skills in barbering are utilized daily as the Learning Leader demonstrates techniques and provides hands‑on training.
