Strategic Analyst – Nuclear Emergency Planning Location: Pearl Harbor, HI (Remote work considered for exceptionally qualified candidates) Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Analyst to support Nuclear Emergency Planning (EP) efforts for Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) organizations. This position plays a critical role in advancing Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) readiness and preparedness, with a particular focus on support for AUKUS-related planning, policies, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and support NNPP Emergency Planning project initiatives within PACFLT EP organizations. Support the development and integration of AUKUS program-related policies, processes, and organizational strategies. Conduct in-depth research on U.S. emergency preparedness programs to inform PACFLT EP planning and execution. Assist the PACFLT EP Director in creating, implementing, and monitoring organizational improvement plans. Provide development and advisory support on corporate NNPP initiatives. Participate in occasional domestic and international travel in support of PACFLT EP duties. Qualifications & Requirements Demonstrated expertise in NNPP emergency planning at Naval Shipyards and/or Fleet sites. Hands-on experience supporting the AUKUS Program. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance and access to Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build and maintain effective working relationships. Capable of exercising sound judgment and maintaining professional discretion in sensitive situations.
