Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar Cath Lab procedures License: KY Rad tech licensure required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, ARRT Must-Have: All RNs and Techs must have a minimum of 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedure experience and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience. Techs must possess valid ARRT and RCIS certification for KY. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit has 2 Cath Lab suites with a 4 person team per patient ratio. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, TEEs, cardioversion, pacer implants, defibrillator implants, tilt tests, and stress tests. Documentation is managed through a specific Cath Lab Application and Meditech. The role requires participating in call duties, with expectations of 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week. The dress code consists of solid color scrubs. The department features state-of-the-art equipment, including new EP technology introduced in March 2023. The position offers a supportive team environment with experienced staff.
