Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and practices
• Provide guidance and oversight to the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards
• Conduct quarterly assessments of the nursing department and implement changes to improve quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, and community resources
• Participate in facility-wide committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, infection control, and medication errors
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, infection control policies, and resident safety protocols
