The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and visitors at our Sacramento regional locations. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents to ensure the safety of the facility. The Security Officer will also be responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on site. By effectively communicating with team members and law enforcement when necessary, the Security Officer contributes to a proactive security culture. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to prevent security breaches and ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with security systems and surveillance equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing assistance and reporting to management as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure proper documentation.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while providing a welcoming and professional presence to all visitors and staff.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address security concerns.
