Must-Have: 2 years of experience in Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum. First-time travelers accepted. Every other weekend required. Holidays as scheduled. May be required to float within the specialty and sister units.

Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting. Responsibilities include assessment and management of postpartum recovery. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed. Educate parents on newborn care and discharge instructions. Monitor and assess patients for any complications post-delivery. Assist with clinical procedures and support breastfeeding education. Utilize charting system for documentation and tracking of patient care. Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols. Engage in interdisciplinary support and collaboration. Participation in team meetings and continued professional development is encouraged. The position may include managing patients in a level 1 nursery. The nurse will ensure patient comfort and address any concerns promptly. Maintaining a calm and supportive environment for families is essential. Knowledge of baby-friendly protocols and care practices is required.
