Head Bartender

Sela V Hotel is opening a new restaurant in Brooklyn, led by a top chef bringing together the flavors of the Middle East, the Balkans, and North Africa. We're keeping the concept under wraps for now, but we're building the front-of-house team today.

The role: We're looking for someone who is creative behind the bar, confident leading a team, and highly organized. You'll be responsible for creating cocktails, training and developing bartenders, coordinating schedules, overseeing inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and polished bar.

Required: 4+ years of professional bartending experience. Experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits and beverage service. Ability to create and execute cocktails to a high standard. Previous leadership experience with the ability to train and support bartenders. Highly organized with experience managing inventory, ordering, and maintaining proper bar pars. Work closely with the General Manager to draft-coordinate bartender schedules. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Ability to stay composed and efficient during high-volume, high-pressure service. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented. Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred: NYC Food Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain one). Stable work history with previous employers.
