Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy, the RN will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgement, and leadership to ensure safe and effective delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care tasks according to staff education and experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring.
• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
