Position Title Counselor College / Division Student Success & Enroll Management Department 520700-COUNSELING AND STU DEV CTR Location Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States Salary / Pay $54,000 per year Employment Full-time (1.0 FTE). Status: Exempt. Standard work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (M-F, 8-5). Not a bargaining unit position. Offer referrals to outside resources when appropriate. Consult with faculty, staff, and other professionals to create an optimal environment for student success. Serve as a liaison to campus organizations. Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent qualifications: LCSW or LISW credentials. Preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree. Special certification/licensure: State licensure in New Mexico within the required timeframe after hire. Working Conditions Environment: Interior medical/clinical setting. Physical effort: Minimal; may involve handling objects up to 10 lbs and moderate walking or standing. Risk: Exposure to some hazards; basic safety precautions required.
