A1 Body and Glass of Deerfield is seeking an Automotive Refinish Technician to refinish and restore collision related auto refinish to pre-loss condition. We successfully operate 5 locations.Responsibilities - Experienced Auto Body Refinish Technician:
- Perform high-quality painting of vehicles following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure all paint jobs are applied evenly and meet our quality standards.
- Mix and match paint colors to ensure perfect matches to original vehicle color.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and timely completion of repairs.
- Assist in the maintenance and proper care of painting equipment and tools.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements - Experienced Auto Body Refinish Technician:
- Required: Auto Body Refinish Technician, with
at least 3 years of experience - Solid knowledge of automotive refinish techniques and tools, including expertise in using body shop equipment in the paint department
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with co-workers.
- Must have own tools required for the job.
