Valuation & ESOP Transaction Senior Manager

CBIZ Valuation Group is hiring a Valuation & ESOP Transaction Senior Manager for our national practice. We're looking for someone who pairs strong analytical skills with sound judgment, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes ownership of delivering high-quality work while helping elevate the team.

Our ESOP team is nationally recognized and works on both buy-side (trustee) and sell-side (selling shareholder) mandates for privately held companies across the U.S. We support existing ESOPs and advise non-ESOP companies on ESOP-based liquidity and succession solutions. The group handles a wide range of transactions and ongoing annual valuations, offering the chance to develop deep subject matter expertise and long-term client relationships. Responsibilities

• Lead engagements end-to-endfrom scoping and analysis through deliverydriving projects to completion.
• Manage and develop junior team members; set milestones and ensure execution.
• Communicate with clients throughout the engagement; present findings and deliverables in a clear, decision-oriented, value-adding way.
• Perform and review complex financial analyses and economic/industry research.
• Oversee preparation and quality of reports, exhibits, tables, and presentations across multiple models and assignments.
• Contribute to practice development and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in financial statement analysis and business valuation concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; advanced degrees and professional credentials (e.g., CPA, valuation designations) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (and related tools).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; professional presence with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Consistent track record of high-quality, on-time work and practical problem solving.
• Naturally curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8 years experience in public accounting or related field
• 5 years supervisory
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on business needs
