Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Rapidly growing SaaS/AI company in Boston is seeking a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join their team. This role will be the right hand person for the Corporate Controller and be involved in various areas including month-end close, financial reporting, audit support, tax support, technical accounting, system implementations, and much more. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about being at a start-up and building from the ground up. We are targeting candidates who have a public accounting foundation and 5+ years of overall experience. CPA/MBA is highly preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis Support technical accounting areas such as ASC 606, 842, and 350-40 Assist with audit and tax support Work closely with the Controller on system implementations and other projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of experience, ideally with a public accounting foundation Software/SaaS industry experience is a plus, but not required Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
