W&B Service Company has an excellent opportunity for an AR Clerk . We are the largest transport refrigeration dealer of Carrier Transicold, a world leader in Truck, Trailer and rail refrigeration systems. We have 21 facilities throughout the Southwest, including Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the company. This role also serves as an auditor and collector, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the company.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, ACH, wire and credit card transactions
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits
• Researches and solves payment discrepancies
• Collections on current and past due accounts
• Processes credit card payments and credits
• Makes adjustments to accounts as needed
• Prepares weekly aging reports for accounting department
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Collection of unpaid invoices
• Assist in month-end closing
• Other duties as needed to meet business and customer needs

Education/Training/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivables Experience
• 2+years of Collections Experience
• Transportation or Dealership Experience preferred

Compensation: Depend on Experience
