Cashier We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at 100 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth operation within the restaurant. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Job Summary Provide accurate cash, credit card, and electronic payment processing using a POS system, maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area, collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation, and address customer concerns promptly while adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Responsibilities Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant. Assist customers in placing their orders, providing recommendations, and answering any questions about the menu. Accurately process cash, credit card, and electronic payments using a POS system. Handle cash transactions responsibly, including making change and processing refunds when necessary. Ensure order accuracy and completeness before presenting it to the kitchen staff. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area. Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and elevate issues to management when necessary. Upsell additional menu items or promotional offers to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash register reconciliation, restocking supplies, and cleaning as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold food quality and safety standards. Follow company policies and procedures at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role, preferably in the food service industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions. Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handling. Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of pizza restaurant operations and menu items. Experience with upselling and promoting additional products or services. Proficiency in English and other languages.
