Schedule & Shift Details


This position offers various scheduling models to fit your lifestyle, making it one of the most flexible Portland Oregon Medical Jobs available:

• Commitment: Full-time, Part-time, or Rotating Week On/Off (7-on/7-off)
• Shift Length: 12.5-hour shifts
• Availability: Day, Night, Weekend Day, and Weekend Night shifts are all currently open.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Inpatient Cardiac Acute Care for adult patients within a state-of-the-art CVICU.
• Manage complex post-operative cardiac surgical patients and advanced heart failure cases.
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and specialized nursing staff.
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and order entry.

Requirements


To be considered for this Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular ICU or Physician Assistant CVICU role, candidates must meet the following:

• Certification: Board Certified Acute Care (NP or PA-C).
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in inpatient cardiac acute care is required.
• Certifications: Current ACLS certification.
• Licensure: Active Oregon medical license is preferred; however, we are open to candidates willing to undergo licensure.
