What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and/or notifying site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store entry points parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic observe for suspicious behavior and/or report policy violations hazards or maintenance issues to the proper contact for follow-up.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned including monitoring restricted areas checking doors and gates and/or helping with orderly access for customers visitors and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state county and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
