Public Tax Senior
A detail-oriented tax professional with strong review experience and a passion for exceptional client service. Review multi-state and federal tax returns, support engagements, mentor staff, and collaborate with managers and clients. Hiring immediately to support the growing Richmond tax practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Review federal and multi-state tax returns.
- Research fundamental tax issues using online tools.
- Perform general accounting duties as needed on engagements.
- Train and mentor Staff Accountants.
- Communicate professionally with managers, partners, and clients.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred. CPA certification or active progress toward licensure. 3+ years of public accounting experience. Strong review experience. Proficiency with spreadsheet tools; experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills with a sense of urgency.
