About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for supervising patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations in an outpatient ambulatory care clinic. Highlights Location: Hartford, CT Department/Unit: OPD Adult Primary Care Team II Schedule: Full Time, Day shift What You'll Do Oversee all activities of the assigned practice/clinic. Drive the development and execution of short and long-term business plans. Respond promptly and effectively to patient and provider concerns. Develop, implement, monitor, and document policies and procedures. Provide office-based nursing care in collaboration with providers. Manage and develop colleagues, including performance feedback and reviews. Assist nursing leadership with investigating patient concerns and compliance issues. Communicate department decisions and policies to colleagues. Maintain active involvement with Clinical Quality Improvement activities. Participate on committees as requested. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred. Experience 2 years of nursing experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
