Our client in California is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 50-day assignment. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, with exact dates flexible for 3-6 shifts per month, primarily attending deliveries, C-sections, and handling ER consults. Practice Info Setting: Call Only Patients per Day: 1-5 Staffing Mix: Full support staff with subspecialty backup, including 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage, and well-trained RNs and MAs Responsibilities Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage Attend deliveries and C-sections, including high-risk cases Handle emergency room consults Perform occasional urgent GYN procedures Offer patient care within a 72-bed hospital setting Compensation Strong compensation Benefits Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Shift & Schedule 50-day assignment 3-6 shifts per month Call Schedule: 24-hour out of house call, 7 AM to 7 AM daily Qualifications Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) EMR: Epic
