DRIVER /MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (DELAWARE COUNTY)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Van Driver/Mental Health Technician to join our Horsham Clinic Team in our Chester County location! The role involves providing compassionate behavioral health services to patients of various ages and populations throughout the surrounding areas across 3 campuses (Ambler, Broomall and Coatesville, PA).

A successful candidate should be punctual, pleasant, and flexible. The Van Driver will transport children and adolescents to and from their homes and the partial program according to scheduled hours; Transports in-patients to scheduled appointments and back to the hospital as scheduled; Transports family members to and from the various programs as scheduled; Assists patients and/or family members in and out of the vehicles, helps load and unload belongings for those passengers requiring aide.

The Horsham Clinic is a 206-bed, private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus in Montgomery County. We are minutes from Philadelphia and serve patients and families from Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. In addition to our main campus in Ambler, we have two satellite partial hospitalization programs in Bucks and Delaware County. Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Must have a clean driving record and background checks
• Experience transporting/driving passengers is required; two or more years previous experience preferred
• Previous experience working with the physically or emotionally disabled preferred
• School bus driving experience, working with school age children is a plus
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have no more than 6 points on License
• Must have no DUI's
• Must have a clean driving record and background checks
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have 2 years MHT experience
• Must be knowlegable with Verbal De-escalation and Handle With Care techniques
