CCAR Regulatory Reporting Professional

Professional with experience across large banking institutions supporting CCAR FRY-14Q & FRY-14A Regulatory functional and data requirements. Data Requirements includes identifying data attributes, data discovery, data lineage. Functional Requirements include summarizing the reporting requirements per schedule. Experienced in partnering with Finance & Technology, and Chief Data Office teams to strengthen governance frameworks, improve data traceability and attestation, and support remediation of regulatory and control issues.

The role consists of following activities:

• Understanding of CCAR regulatory reporting instructions and data elements
• Gathering regulatory reporting business requirements.
• Translating business requirements into functional requirements
• Designing the regulatory reporting solution architecture system specifications
• Documentation of data requirements using the report instructions – Business requirement document
• Working with data providers / system owners to identify the attribute available in source system - Data gap analysis
• Documenting the mapping of source system attributes with the data requirements – Functional requirement document
• Working with Data Management team to hand over the requirements
• Perform the data assessment to make sure it meets the requirements – Fit for purpose analysis
• Executing the testing to reconcile the data with expected results – Testing summary and evidence
• Document the reporting rules for Axiom using data dictionary – Functional requirements document
• Perform reconciliation of Axiom outcome with current production process - Testing summary and evidence
• Support UAT and production deployment for end-to-end automation
