Summary: Assures departmental operations/functions and assists with hospital regulatory compliance with the credentialing and re-credentialing processes requiring Medical Staff committee approval. Assists with monitoring practitioner membership and privileging eligibility and maintains credentialing and other Medical Staff Office data bases.
Minimum Qualifications:
Other information: Required Experience includes 3 years Medical Staff Office operations or 1 year credentialing/credentialing support or 2 years of Administrative Support. Education: Essential: * Education Information in Comments Education equivalent experience: Essential: * Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Bachelors - Healthcare Administration; Or - Bachelors - Related Field Credentials: Nonessential: *Provider Credentialing Specialist Credential equivalent experience: Nonessential: * Preferred - CPCS (Credentialing)
