Position Purpose Build a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensure they have a healthy pipeline of clients, and that those clients and other members receive exceptional fitness experience. Responsibilities Achieve sales targets month-over-month, driving membership growth and ensuring the team meets or exceeds set goals for new personal training agreements, client retention, and overall revenue generation. Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, driving sales initiatives, and establishing a smooth transition into the club experience. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers. Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers to ensure team members are paid correctly and on time. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff, ensuring everyone understands their roles. Ensure all fitness staff have appropriate certifications (CPR, First Aid, personal trainer certifications). Provide constructive feedback to staff using clear, specific language to highlight strengths and improvement areas. Maintain high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage members in a friendly, approachable manner, actively listening to needs and concerns, and providing helpful responses. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining proper certifications and safety protocols. Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies or disruptions, providing necessary instructions and updates. Qualifications 2 years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus. 3-4 years of customer service experience. Personal Training sales experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels. Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Embrace our Core Values. Requirements Must successfully pass background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Must have valid PT certification. Previous sales experience required. Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, reading reports from a computer database or email system.
