Fmla Coordinator
Onsite responsibilities: Primary contact for employees requesting FMLA leave. Review FMLA leave requests and determine eligibility in compliance with applicable laws/regulations. Facilitate timely processing of requests. Maintain confidential records related to FMLA in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Daily monitor and track FMLA usage. Monitor usage trends by day, department and employee and report out finds and suggestions to make improvements. Work collaboratively with Springfield P&C team members and departmental management. Provide training/education on FMLA to managers and employees.
Required skills: Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations. Knowledge of ADA administration. Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Suite, HRIS systems, Kronos). Previous experience working in a union environment.
