License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Certifications: BLS (AHA)

Must-Have: Experience with Fresenius 2008T Hemodialysis Machines Knowledge of telemetry Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine and portable ROs

Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs and the physician's medical diagnosis. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule notes: Weekend requirement is every other Saturday with occasional Sundays. Holiday requirement is 3 of 6, including a minimum of one summer and one winter. On-call responsibilities are optional. No float requirement.
