Pay Range $16.00 - $16.50Week one and two of class will be at NHC HealthCare Training Center at 210 Memorial Drive Bristol, TN 37620. Hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Week three (clinical) will be at NHC HealthCare Johnson City 3209 Bristol Hwy Johnson City, TN 37601. Hours will be Monday – Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.Employment opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the course.We will run a criminal background check as well as consult the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. No one with a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry can be admitted to the class.Since the class is only 17 days, no absences or tardies are permitted. You must maintain a grade average of an 85 to successfully complete this course, homework involved.Student Responsibility PurchasesTwo uniforms (Scrubs Dark Grey Scrub Bottoms and Burgundy Scrub Tops) will need to be purchased for the class by (clinical, week three)Clean athletic shoes or nursing shoesA wrist watch with a second handA foldout cardboard presentation board (found in poster board section)Black pens, pencils, notebook and highlightersYou can wear modest street clothes to class (no shorts, sleeveless shirts or halter tops, please). No facial piercings are to be worn to class except for earrings by female students.
