Associate General Manager

Summary The Associate General Manager supports the General Manager in leading a luxury outlet store, driving sales and delivering exceptional client service. This role oversees day-to-day store operations, coaches and develops the sales team, and ensures store presentation, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in monitoring daily store activities and team performance to achieve sales and profitability goals. Coach, train, and motivate sales staff to drive clienteling and comp store results. Maintain compliance with operational policies, security procedures, and inventory control to minimize shrink. Actively sell and build relationships with new and existing clients on the sales floor. Oversee back-of-house operations including receiving, shipping, POS systems, maintenance, and supplies. Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are maintained. Collaborate on local events, marketing initiatives, and client experience strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred. Minimum of 5 years of management experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Strong understanding of specialty retail including clienteling, visual merchandising, and store operations. Computer proficiency with retail POS systems, Word, Excel, and email. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and support the Store Manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
