Insurance and Financial Services Position - State Farm Agent Team Member Full Time in San Antonio - TX Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Job Summary / Objective We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Insurance and Financial Services Representative. The primary responsibility of this role is to bring on new clients for their car and home insurance needs, conduct meetings to sell life insurance, and service existing clients while identifying additional insurance product opportunities based on client needs. Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls to quote new auto insurance business and follow up on quotes to close sales. Meet with clients to understand their insurance requirements and present suitable life insurance options. Service existing clients, providing assistance and addressing inquiries, while identifying cross-selling opportunities. Listen attentively to clients’ needs, provide personalized insurance solutions, and recommend appropriate coverage. Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a positive and supportive work atmosphere. Actively participate in events, showcasing enthusiasm, and promoting our insurance services. Strive to achieve individual and team sales goals, demonstrating a proactive approach during slower periods. Qualifications and Skills Previous sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers effectively. Persuasive and able to present insurance options clearly and convincingly. Strong team player who can thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Self-motivated and proactive, able to take initiative and drive results. Enjoyment of socializing and building relationships with both customers and teammates. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with insurance products and industry. Knowledge of life insurance policies and their features. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) would be an asset. Compensation Base salary plus commissions, with an expected annual income of $40,000 to $60,000. Paid time off and health insurance reimbursements.
