Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent experience required License: Must have applicable nursing license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: - General Emergency Department adult/pediatric experience required - Experience with Cerner charting system is mandatory - Must have completed at least one travel assignment - Every other weekend and holiday availability is required Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room services. This role requires the candidate to successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are mandatory. Experience in a busy emergency department is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with a patient ratio of four patients per nurse during night shifts. Applicants must have strong skills in blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line management. Candidates should be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs and have triage experience. All applicants must adhere to infection control practices, including isolation precautions and the use of PPE. This position may require participation in procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are vital. Current certifications and a valid license are required at the time of application.
