Inventory Control Manager

Luxury Jewelry & Watch Retail | Nashville, Tennessee About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Inventory Control Specialist to oversee one of our most valuable assets—our inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, security, and integrity of approximately 5,000 pieces of fine jewelry, luxury timepieces, and loose diamonds. Reporting directly to the Inventory Operations Manager, this role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a detail-driven environment where precision, accountability, and trust are non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities Inventory Oversight: Maintain complete inventory accuracy across ~5,000 high-value jewelry, watch, and loose diamond items. Audits & Reconciliation: Perform and oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and routine audits. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately. Logistics Management: Monitor inventory movement, including receiving, transfers, sales, repairs, memo items, and returns. Process Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to inventory control procedures and security protocols. Reporting: Produce inventory reports and performance metrics using Microsoft Excel. Systems Management: Utilize Shopify to manage inventory transactions and maintain accurate digital records. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, purchasing, merchandising, and leadership teams to ensure total inventory integrity. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and accuracy. Asset Protection: Maintain complete confidentiality while safeguarding company assets. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years of inventory control experience in luxury jewelry, luxury watches, high-end retail, or a comparable high-value inventory environment. Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, and reporting). Platform Expertise: Proven experience using Shopify for inventory management. Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success maintaining exceptional inventory accuracy. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management.
