Provide timely and excellent beverage service to our guests while fostering a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation. Duties and Responsibilities Promptly greet guests Create bonds with locals and regulars Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars Complete Steps of Service for Bartenders Promote The Osthoff Resort’s service principle by example—respond to/resolve guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. Make sure to inform a team leader of any problems. Prepare drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes Maintain bar in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparations and promotions of beverages Be knowledgeable about beverage products to assist guests with choices Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar Counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas, and surrounding areas to the bar Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team Including polishing, cleaning, and prepping Restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor All other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Must be 18 years of age Have Bartending License Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate the POS Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor towards guests and other team members Must have an outgoing, cheerful, and fun personality along with a professional attitude Must have the willingness to go above and beyond what is expected to create meaningful guest experiences Ability to take care of customers’ needs while following company procedures Be able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Possess great time management skills, with the ability to think on the spot Ability to learn quickly and accurately Benefits Enjoy competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, resort-wide discounts, and flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.
