QUALITY TECHNICIAN


This position for a Quality Technician will support the improvement of the products we deliver to our customers. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, an eye for detail, experience with basic mechanical and electrical assembly, ability to manage own time by monitoring the progress of units as they are being built, and familiarity with the fundamentals of quality assurance and continual improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Requires the ability to think and act independently
• Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembling kits; boards, harnesses, and test boards
• Labeling and providing electrostatic bags to respective boards, etc.
• Unboxing, inspecting, and staging received products for production
• Works with Production personnel and QC inspectors to efficiently perform in-process inspections with minimal interruption to process flow
• Support the creation of and maintenance to controlled documents in the management system

• other duties may be assigned as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work near moving mechanical parts less than 1/3 of the time

• Work near hazardous electrical energy less than 1/3 of the time
• Ability to lift to 45 pounds
• Moderate Noise

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This is not a remote position
• Quiet to moderate noise in a production environment
• Temp to perm position

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
