Title
Registered Nurse - Maternity/Birthing Care

Schedule
12-hour nights - 18:45-07:15

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements
- NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; 3 years preferred
- Experience in high-volume maternity/birthing settings
- Certifications: BLS/BCLS, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced recommended
- Charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients, including intrapartum care for high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.
- Conduct assessments, triage obstetrical patients, and manage high-risk cases.
- Assist in labor and delivery, including circulating for Cesarean sections.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and perform necessary interventions based on assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide immediate newborn care following delivery.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours required prior to start.
- RTO policies: Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays); no RTO during the first week; must work 2 of 3 major holidays; all RTO must be pre-approved.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
- Pre-start modules required (online).
- COVID-19 vaccine not required.
