Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath/EP Lab

Location: North Philadelphia, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4 × 10 hr shifts per week, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab will work in a 6-room unit with 9 holding bays at a level-1 Trauma Center. The role involves providing care during various cardiac procedures, including diagnostic and complicated cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in a dedicated 6-room Cath/EP Lab.
• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Manage a nurse-patient ratio of 1:3 in the holding area and 1:1 intraprocedure.
• Handle 10-25 cases daily, ranging from diagnostic procedures to interventional cardiology.
• Be available for on-call shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse License - Required
• 5+ years of nursing experience in a related field - Required
• Previous travel experience - Required
• ACLS and BLS certifications - Required
• RCIS credential - Recommended
