Director, Transaction Services | Financial Due Diligence | Corporate Finance

About the Role FTI Consulting is seeking a Director to join our growing Transactions Financial Due Diligence team, aligned with the Corporate Finance organization. The team evaluates risk/return considerations across all stages of the deal continuum, focusing on Quality of Earnings, Working Capital, Net Assets, Forecasts, Debt items, and detailed margin analyses. What You’ll Do Provide financial and accounting consulting services within the Corporate Finance practice areas. Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation. Perform industry and company research, assisting in the preparation of reports and schedules delivered to clients and other stakeholders. Support and guide engagement communication with clients and staff, updating senior team members on progress and issues. Network and build internal relationships across the Transaction team and other service areas. How You’ll Grow Enhance and expand your experience with buy and sell‑side transactions, project management, delivery, and leadership. You will collaborate with diverse internal teams and clients across various industries to grow in new and complex areas and technologies. What You’ll Need to Succeed Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of post‑graduate professional experience. Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed. Current authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; visa sponsorship not provided. Preferred Qualifications CPA Certification. Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling. Client or industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Media, or Energy. Knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and the full MS Office suite. Compensation Minimum Pay: $109,000 Maximum Pay: $224,000 Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role.
