Manufacturing Field Service Technician 1The Manufacturing Field Service Technician 1 performs basic assembly and installation of components by providing mechanical/electrical services that satisfies customer requirements/specifications and achieves departmental goals. This may require working independently with specific direction or as a member of a team. Participate in ongoing self-development.Essential FunctionsModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionAssists in the assembly of custom genset and engine packages to meet customer requirements/specificationsRemoves and installs parts, disassembles, and assembles basic componentsCommunicates job progress to supervisorCompletes assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate time and re-work standardsCompletes all assigned Technician Training Path courses, safety training and soft skills training opportunitiesProactively recognizes potential safety and quality issuesMaintains company equipment, tools, and work areas in good, clean, and working orderWorks as part of a team to provide basic mechanical/electrical services that meet customer needs and departmental goalsDemonstrates basic knowledge of estimating, planning, and controlling Work Order/Project costsPerforms frequent assessment of parts needs, source/order, and supply as project requiresLearns how to plan engine and component assemblyDedication to completing the task at hand including working overtime as required by workload and customer needsWorks safely at all time and adheres to all applicable safety policies;
