Per Diem Administrators

Overview Per Diem Substitute Administrator(s) position in the Beacon City School District. The BCSD offers a flexible leadership opportunity for an experienced school administrator. The district serves four elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, an administration building and a transportation facility, with approximately 2,900 students. The successful candidate will be a rigorous academic leader, an innovative planner and an effective communicator who has developed positive relationships with faculty, staff, students and parents. The role requires availability for flexible assignments based on fluctuating coverage needs for school principals. Responsibilities Provide flexible substitute administrator coverage to support school principals as needed. Demonstrate rigorous academic leadership, strategic planning and clear, positive communication with students, staff and families. Build and maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, students and parents to support student success. Qualifications NYS SAS/SDA, SBL, or SDL certification required; Demonstrated knowledge/experience in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment; Demonstrated knowledge/experience in student social and emotional development, and systems of prevention and intervention; Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate and partner effectively with parents and caregivers to support student success; Must be available for flexible substitute administrator assignments as needed. Work days and hours will vary. Compensation $450/day; $225/half-day Notes This is an ongoing recruitment.
