If you are passionate about helping people and have a drive for service, then Labcorp could be a great next career step!We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday anywhere between the hour of 5:00am - 6:00pm, with rotating Saturdays hours may vary as this is a casual position.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect paymentsPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred QualificationsOne year or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job StandardsPhlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomistProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testHave a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years' oldPhlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsFloat Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursementBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
