We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating a fast-paced, tight warehouse environment to safely move, store, and ship oversized products. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to step in wherever needed, possesses basic computer literacy, and has a strong eye for detail.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift equipped with fork extensions to transport, stage, and stack oversized inventory in tight, high-traffic spaces.
  
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with daily shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading flatbeds and trailers, verifying packing slips, and inspecting incoming goods for damage.
  
• Inventory Control: Utilize ERP/warehouse management software to log inventory movements, track shipments, and maintain accurate digital records.
  
• General Site Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace. Cross-train and assist with general labor, packaging, or other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  
• Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating a sit-down forklift, specifically handling oversized loads and utilizing fork extensions.
  
• Environment: Proven ability to navigate a tight, space-constrained warehouse environment safely and efficiently.
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and reaching throughout the shift.
  
• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency; prior experience with ERP or inventory tracking software is highly preferred.
  
• Soft Skills: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a "team-first" attitude with a willingness to assist in multiple departments.
