Job Title: LVN / LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent full-time paid clinical experience in an acute care health facility or ambulatory care facility preferred. License: Current licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois. Certifications: BLS certification. Must-Have: Successful completion of coursework for medication administration (Pharmacology) as a Practical Nurse in accordance with the state's standards. Description: Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing in the State of Illinois. BLS certification is required. Successful completion of coursework for medication administration (Pharmacology) as a Practical Nurse is necessary. Preferred qualifications include two years of recent full-time paid clinical experience in an acute care health facility or ambulatory care facility. Every other weekend is required, with a maximum of two weekends per month. All requests for time off must comply with established policies. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is mandatory. Floating is a standard and frequent practice; clinicians should expect to float regularly across various units. References must be from the most recent employers, and one reference must be from the most recent employer. Laboratory work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an assignment. Candidate responsiveness is essential for all required items.
