Your Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Supplier Quality professionals in order to manage: Set quality performance targets and drive continuous improvement across the supply base. Manage Divisional APQP & Launch Management Ongoing Supplier Performance Management, monitor supplier KPIs (PPM levels, delivery performance, escape frequency, audit scores), conduct regular business reviews, and develop supplier improvement roadmaps. Ensure structured problem-solving for supplier-related defects using 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa methods. Communicate critical issues internally and to OEM customers when relevant. Perform process audits at supplier sites. Identify gaps, verify corrective actions, and elevate risks when needed. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including capacity, process stability, and material availability. Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to ensure alignment on quality and sourcing strategies. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management. Minimum 10 years of experience in Automotive Quality or Purchasing functions. Strong knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry. Experience in supplier development leadership role. Strong leadership skills. Advanced presentation and communication (written & verbal) skills. Experience with SAP, SupplyOn and Microsoft Office. Experience with mechatronics & electronic components, steel, heat treatment, welding, grinding, stamping, computer numerical control (CNC), machining and assembly operations. Strong working knowledge with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Quality System requirements. Ability to assess, prioritize and make decisions. Extremely self‑motivated & driven to achieve results.
