Your Role and Responsibilities

• Create Customized Care Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and devise personalized therapeutic strategies to help them meet their functional goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply scientifically supported methods to promote improvements in motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily tasks
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work intimately with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure a comprehensive, integrated care experience
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their loved ones by instructing them on therapy practices to support continuous progress at home
• Track Progress: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track toward recovery

Educational Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active pursuit of ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Licensing & Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
